Spoken language plays the most significant part in communication development of human history. Since people began to talk, they invent a diversity of languages in other areas and territories on Earth. Here are list of the most spoken languages due to the number of native speakers.

 

Mandarin (over 845 million speakers)

Mandarin, which has two writing systems of traditional and simplified Chinese, is one of many Chinese languages. Along with Cantonese and Xiang, Mandarin is the official language of People’s Republic of China and Taiwan. Furthermore, Mandarin is also among the main languages in Singapore where there has large number of Chinese immigration. Besides, immigration brought this language to United States and Europe.
